Regular appointment - $50
Maintenance between appointments - $35
Travel 40 to 60 miles - $25 extra

Travel

I prefer to serve the area within 40 miles of Orlean VA (20128).  I like for clients to be close enough that, if necessary, I can easily check on things between appointments.  Also, to compensate for the time and expense associated with travel the cost may exceed the value provided to the client.

Initial appointment

1. Get history information about horse
2. If horse shod take pictures and remove shoes
3. Rate feet on spectrum of usability
4. Check feet with hoof testers
5. Trim
6. Take pictures of feet
7. Observe at walk and trot (video tape if rehab required)
8. Provide written report with history and recommendations

Regular appointment

1. Update any changes in condition
2. Rate feet on spectrum of usability
3. Trim
4. Take pictures of feet
5. Observe at walk and trot (video tape if rehab)
6. Provide written report with updated history and recommendations

Maintenance between trims

1. Trim
2. Take pictures
3. Observe at walk and trot

Scheduling

I prefer to schedule appointments by email.  I will email or phone about a week before an appointment is due to schedule a time that is convenient.
